I am so proud of my client Emily, over the past few months we have not just looked at the scale but the whole picture … sleep, recovery, gym volume, food quality, caffeine intake, gut health and overall hunger. Reverse dieting is a long process at times… but when you give your body what It needs and help restore hormones, your body will cooperate.

Although my transformation in terms of aesthetics may not appear to be much, my transformation in regards to overall health and mindset has been huge! I came to Amanda after having a less than ideal prior coaching experience. I was underfed and had been over training. Initially, I had really great results, really fast! Until my body said “No ma’am. I am not doing this anymore.” I plateaued and my calories were dropped in an attempt to break through it – a whopping 1,390 calories was prescribed while I was doing CrossFit 6-7 days per week. I was overwhelmed with frustration since I wasn’t seeing results anymore. My weight slowly crept back up and my engine in the gym tanked. I was really foggy mentally and all I thought about was food. That is when the binge eating set it and I really ruined my prior progress. I was very upset and ashamed of myself. My health declined also, with the worst part being that my hair was falling out and my body stopped cycling altogether. I was a hot mess and felt like a stranger in my own body.
Then I started working with Amanda, and she picked me up, dusted me off and encouraged me that we could fix this. And that is exactly what she has done. I am excited to see what the next couple months will bring as we keep “chipping away” 🙂
